Lohan Qigong For Everybody
This system has been kept closely guarded from the public for over 1500 years.
Generally translated “the art of the enlightened one” the Lohan Qigong is a complete system of health maintenance for both the internal and external body. It maintains the Yin/Yang balance in the body through physical movement, breath control and mental concentration.
I look forward to training my techniques everyday. It started off as twice a week but it works so well I naturally wanted to train everyday. Bill. K
The origins of the 18 Lohan Qigong date back to the 6th century A.D, when a travelling Indian monk named Bodidharma (also known as Da Mo), bought scriptures of Buddhism from India to China. He eventually settled at the Shaolin Monastery in the Henan Province, and founded Chan (or Zen) Buddhism.
After noticing that the monks became sluggish from long hours of meditation, Da Mo devised a set of exercises to keep the meditators healthy and strong. These exercises are known as 18 Lohan Qigong. This specific Qigong exercise has been kept very secretive and its only been in recent times that the art has come to the public.

Its true. It was easier to learn than I thought. Now I love doing it at home in the mornings before I go anywhere.

I could really connect with the ancient side of it. The movements just feel right, like they ARE thousands of years old.

18 Lohan has improved my Kung Fu so much. I didn't believe it at first but then one day it all worked.

I’ve tried all types of meditation and styles but I kept falling asleep. I am so glad I found your Academy, your teachers make it so easy and fun to follow and learn. I recommend this place to everyone!

I had no idea how relaxing Lohan Qigong was but I kind of heard about it. I do it everyday now as a part of my life.

I travel a lot and I'm in board meetings all day. I thought I would test the movements in my hotel room before a meeting. The first thing my colleagues said at the meeting was "gee you look happy today what happened". My secret weapon now.

Excellent and patient instructors, everything is good!
