In 1999, Sifu George and a small group of students including Tarm Michielsen travelled to USA to compete in the Four Star Grand Championships held in San Francisco. Top Kung Fu competitors from all over the world would compete in the 4 categories, long weapons, short weapon, sparring and forms. At this time Sifu Shane Lacey was overall Champion in all categories for the 4th year running. In this video he is doing kicks on the pads for a reporter from a television station who was interviewing him . Sifu George is holding the pads.
